Hope’s Bridge is a non-profit agency dedicated to the temporary care of children whose families are in crisis in a multi-regional area including Benton, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Hickory, Polk and Webster counties in Missouri. Our Children’s Emergency Crisis Center will be a place where children can find peace, comfort and security in a home-like environment while moms and dads work on healing themselves of life altering issues. Hope’s Bridge staff will identify children who are crisis from either self-referrals by the parents, referrals from State Agencies, churches or other community resources.  Our first Crisis Center will house children (ages 0 – 12) for 1 to 30 days.  Our goal is to deter and prevent child abuse and neglect in our communities.  We will offer counseling, tutoring and child focused activities.  In Missouri there are 4,614 children in Foster Care. Hope’s Bridge can be a better alternative for some of these kids.   

Our cause has the strong support of many local and state organizations as it represents the only real alternative for youth to stay independent of state custody while families work through situations in which they are not able to care for their children.
